We are proud to be a family owned and operated company in North East Florida. Wild Things Exotic Animals Inc. produces most of the animals at our breeding facility. By breeding the animals ourselves, we have better control over the health and quality of the animals we offer. With a wide variety of exotic animals like Boas, Pythons, Monitors, Geckos. Amphibians, Crocodilian, Ferrets, Hedgehogs, Chinchillas, Skinny Pigs, Sugar Gliders and more, Wild Things has the perfect pet for you. We also carry all the supplies and feeders to keep your exotic little friends happy and healthy. Whether you need an Albino Alligator for your zoo or your first snake, Wild Things has you covered.
Store Policy
Shipping
We ship via FedEx with Ship Your Reptiles. Shipping charges are $65 for most orders. (Large or heavy shipments may be more) All orders over $1000 ship for free. We ship on Tuesday (unless other arrangements are made). Shipping is weather dependent of a daytime high below 90 and a night time low of above 32.
Live Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee your animal will arrive live and in good health. Animals must be picked up at Fed Ex Hub by 11 AM for guarantee. We can ship directly to your door but due to many factors outside of our control we cannot guarantee these shipments. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any sort of damages incurred as a result of an incorrect address or delays on the behalf of the carrier.
Sexing Policy / Pore Sexing
Any animal listed for sale on our website as definitively male or female are guaranteed to be said sex. Should you receive an animal that was sold to you as a guaranteed sex, and it turns out to be the opposite, we must be notified as soon as the error is realized. The original must then be returned to us, following our safe shipping guidelines at your expense. Our team here will inspect the animal and a comparable replacement will then be sent to you at our expense, or store credit given at our discretion.
All gecko babies under 5 grams will be marked as unsexed. All babies between 5-15 grams will be loop sexed to the best of our ability. These geckos will be marked as "no pores visible” or “possible pores visible". This is NOT A GUARANTEE of the eventual sex of the gecko.
Gecko Tails
Geckos dropping their tail is a completely natural process and does not harm or devalue the animal at all. Because of this, we do not offer a guarantee on gecko tails during shipping. Tail drops during shipping are very rare but can happen.
Payment Methods
We accept Pay Pal or Credit Card payment over the phone. All payments must clear before any shipments will be scheduled.
Wild Things Payment Plan Terms of Use
We require a $500 Non-Refundable Deposit to hold the animal. You then have 60 days to pay the remaining balance of the purchase, including any shipping costs. If, after 75 days, the balance has not been paid in full, we will refund all payments aside from the Non-Refundable Deposit of $500. If we, Wild Things Exotic Animals, cannot fulfill the order, all monies will be returned including the deposit.
