Store Policy

Payment: To arrange to purchase of a snake, send a message and we will get your questions answered before getting you set. Payment is done through Paypal and can accept most major credit cards. Zelle, Square, Cashapp, Venmo are available options. Payments are non-refundable, all sales are final.

Shipping: Shipping is the actual shipping cost unless otherwise stated. Usually between $50-$75, but every quote is different.
Ship Mon-Wed for next day delivery.
Shipping of snakes is based on weather, among other conditions. Snakes will not be shipped if their health will be put at risk due to excessive temperatures (low or high). All snakes are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight. Shipping is to hub for pickup, unless otherwise agreed upon prior to purchase. In any period of questionable but ship-able temperatures, it is recommended the snake be held at a FedEx location for pick-up (many times it’s required, and WTG reserves the right to insist upon location-pickup). For Fedex location pickup, package must be picked up within the first hour after delivery. Live arrival is guaranteed with immediate notification (within first hour after delivery/pickup, with a full descriptive message left if not answered) of any problems accompanied by emailed pictures (must be confirmed back we receive them), if it is accepted on the first/scheduled delivery attempt, and for reasons within our control. Not responsible for delays due to carrier errors or acts of god. ------ Willing to meet for local pickups or show pickup: This is actually preferred to avoid shipping hassles and allow in-person examination of reptile(s).

Gender: Gender is guaranteed.

Weights: We try to ensure the info for every posting is accurate, but in most cases there is a degree of "error" due to the influence of food or defecation. Weights of snakes can vary from that in the ad based on simply eating and defecating.

Health of animals are guaranteed at time of pickup or arrival. Ads will note any concerns, but small, non-issue concerns, like small bites from live prey, may not be noted.

Feed: Animal guaranteed to be feeding at time of purchase. A change in environment may cause shifts, especially true with frozen/thawed (F/T) feeders as they tend to be pickier. Something as simple as how the rat is thawed can change the desire to take F/T, so F/T feeders are not guaranteed to remain on F/T. Due to this, the safest recommendation is to consider every F/T feeder as a live feeder and be sure you can accommodate with live options. Animals feeding on specific prey type will be noted in the ad, however no animal is guaranteed to continue to feed on that specific feed type (for example, a mouse feeder may switch to a rat feeder and continue on rats for us, but want mice again after a stressor like a change in environment. Some animals are just that picky). I will let you know before purchase of any reasons an animal may be of concern on feed type, but most ads should already state a concern should one be present.

Feeds after birth: No animal will be posted before it is eating. All babies posted will have a minimum of 5 offerings, and must eat 3-5 consecutive feedings before being posted. That policy guides the posting of the animal, but not the type of feed.

ID policy - Dominant, Co-dominant: We can not 100% guarantee accuracy of every dominant and co-dominant gene in our animals, as many genes may affect the expression of others. We strive to provide accurate IDs, and we will happily explain how we came to every conclusion, and discuss with you if you do not agree. Buyer concerns about ID must be expressed before purchase.
ID Policy - Recessives: Recessive Heterozygous (Het) genes are guaranteed. Heterozygous (Het) genes are guaranteed to the accuracy of the percentages. (100% means it carries the trait. Anything under means that is the likelihood the animal carries the trait, but not a guarantee it will). Please understand how Het, possible-het, and recessive genes work before buying. This guarantee applies to the purchased animal only, no compensation will be given for its offspring.
