Our family loves animals and any animal you purchase from us has been loved and cared for as our own. We have a tiny zoo at home with our family dog, robo hamster, fish, cresties, African fat tails, a gargoyle and a leo. We focus more on temperament, quality, and the health of these animals animals over quantity. We all hope you fall in love with these gorgeous creatures as much as our family has.

Store Policy

TERMS OF SERVICE

By putting a deposit down on a gecko or purchasing a gecko from us, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as stated below:

Payment Plans
We require 25% percent down as a nonrefundable deposit to hold an animal priced $200 and below; a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required for animals priced higher than $200. 30 day payment plans are available, unless otherwise stated at the time of transaction. We reserve the right to not provide 30 day payment plans or extensions. If a 30 day payment plan is agreed on, then a weekly payment must be made until the full amount is paid in full; weekly payment amount to be discussed and agreed upon between seller and buyer. If you need an extension please communicate with us, so we can work with you and you don’t forfeit the gecko or deposit. If there is no attempt at communicating with us, then the animals are forfeited back to us and you will lose your deposit. If you have a payment plan and default on it, we will be unable to offer you payment plans in the future. We would still welcome your business, but only in the form of full and immediate payments.


Shipping & Local Pick Up/Delivery
We ship through FedEx using Reptiles2You. Shipments are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, unless otherwise discussed, and scheduled for next day arrival. We guarantee live arrival as long as we are informed of a DOA within 30 minutes of delivery and a clear unboxing video, showing a dead animal. We ship only between temperatures of 40 and 90 degrees. If there is a problem with your shipment you must notify us within one hour of receiving your animals (and must include pictures and video) or all guarantees are void. These guarantees apply to shipments, local pick-ups, personal deliveries, or meet-ups.

Refunds
Deposits and holds are non-refundable. We will refund an animal if the animal is injured, sick or dies prior to shipping. Refunds will also be applicable, if the animal dies during shipping (Please see details under “Shipping & Local Pick up/Delivery”). We need to be notified within 30 minutes of receiving the animal. Pictures/ video of unboxing and dead animal required. We will not refund a purchase once a shipping label has been created, unless the animal does is sick, injured, or dies while in our possession. If the animal has already been delivered and it is no longer wanted or if the animal’s temperament is not what was expected or hoped for, a refund will not be provided. We don't guarantee tails, as they are generally not permanent fixtures. We can ship directly to your home or to a FedEx hub closest to your home. Local pick up, meet-up, or personal deliveries available on a case by case basis.

Animals
We do not Photoshop our geckos and we always try to accurately represent them from the photos we take. We are constantly trying to improve our photo quality to best represent our animals. We only advertise animals that are healthy and not injured. If something happens that makes the gecko unavailable between the time you make payment and the time that your gecko ships, then we will refund you in full. We don't guarantee tails, they are generally not permanent fixtures. We only guarantee gender of animals that are specifically labeled as MALE or FEMALE. Labels that state “possible male” or “possible female” are not guaranteed. We will do our best to provide pore checks and photos, but it is solely at the discretion of the buyer to determine their opinion on gender and make the decision of whether or not they will commit to buying the animal.

Summer/Winter Holds
Given that roughly 50% of the year is not safe for shipping, we do offer holds over stretches of time longer than one month. A minimum 35% down hold may be placed to span these times for animals that are up to $200; a 50% hold is required for animals that are priced above $200. When we have consistent shipping weather for two weeks in a row, we will require you to continue making payments, if you need a payment plan at that time, under the terms of the payment plan or pay your gecko off in full so we can start shipping them out. Consistent shipping weather is judged by the days where both sides are able to send or receive animals. We reserve the right to hold the animals until we deem that shipping weather is safe and there are no noted warnings that may affect the safety of geckos. Safety is our number one priority in shipping our animals.

Abandoned Animals
This has never happened to us but just in case. If you have paid your animal off and we can’t get ahold of you for a period of one month, then your animals and all payments that have been made up to that point considered forfeited.

ZayLia Geckos reserves the right to refuse, stop or cancel a sale or shipment of our geckos at any time. If a payment has been made, and we decide to refuse, stop, or cancel the sale or shipment of an animal, a full refund will be guaranteed.
