An adult male may reach about 4 inches, but most will be closer to 3 - 3.5". We have one large wild caught male that measures almost 5 inches! A large female will be much larger and bulkier than a male, and may measure up to 5.5”. All of the Yellow Spotted Climbing Toad toadlets Josh's Frogs sells are well started juveniles, and measure 3/4"-1" inch long.

Age: There is not any good data surrounding the average lifespan of yellow spotted climbing toads, but wild caught animals have lived in captivity for 5 or more years. All Yellow Spotted Climbing Toads for sale at Josh's Frogs are well started juveniles, and are 2-3 months old.

About Josh's Frogs. Josh's Frogs LLC was founded by Joshua Willard, a poison dart frog hobbyist and vivarium enthusiast, in 2004. Josh originally operated the business out of his basement and garage, but his dedication to customer service and quality supplies quickly caused the business to grow. In 2008 Josh's Frogs moved to Owosso, Michigan. In 2013, we moved into a new building in Owosso where Josh's Frogs now employs over 30 people, and has become the largest producer of captive bred poison dart frogs in the United States, and probably the world. We also work with other varieties of frogs and toads from all over the world.
