We guarantee that the animal being purchased/delivered is exactly the one represented in our ad, unless otherwise stipulated. We further guarantee that the animal will be at least 80% of the advertised weight, and of the specified gender (unless stated as unknown). (Note we make no guarantees as to length, as all such measurements are rough estimates, and we are terrible guessers.)
We spend a huge amount of time acclimating each and every animal to human contact. However, on very rare occasions, a buyer and animal simply do not “click.” LGR will not held not responsible for this occurrence, but will make very effort to help coach the buyer through the process.
We require a 20% deposit to hold an animal. Note this deposit is typically nonrefundable, as we must pass on other opportunities to sell it. If we have to hold the animal for an extended period, such as a summer or winter shipping shutdown, we may require an additional 5% to cover the cost of feeding (but it still counts towards the animal’s purchase). If the failure to ship is on our end, we will refund the whole deposit; if on your end, you can always roll it to another animal if something else comes up.
Balances will be paid before shipping, according to an agreed-upon schedule. Payment plans are possible, but arranged on a case-by-case basis. We will also require a full name, shipping address, and cell number for FedEx and paperwork purposes. This will also help us generate a specific shipping quote rather than an estimate. Note that in the case of minors, we also require parental approval.
We ship once per week. Due to covid and unrest delays, we are currently shipping only on Tuesday and Wednesday, with delivery the next day, and only to a FedEx Ship Center (main hub) as “hold for pickup.” We strongly suggest, but do not require, insurance. We will not be responsible for delays longer than an extra 24 hours due to the current climate. Note that exact ship date will by mutual agreement, and may exceed seven days, as rainbows are temperature-sensitive animals; and as items like payment plans, summer/winter shutdowns, day-to-day weather, and client/vendor schedules can affect the specific day. We will, however, maintain excellent contact regarding shipping dates and matters.
We guarantee the animal will be shipped healthy, and live arrival in good health. If the animal does not arrive in this condition, we must be contacted within 24 hours. For a DOA, the animal must be preserved for possible autopsy.
