Notice of the following terms are the responsibility of the buyer. Texas Scale Exotics is not responsible for failure to read or understand our store policy. All sales are final.
Health
We have a 100% health guarantee on all animals at the time of sale. If you should have an issue with an animal within 24 hours of delivery, contact Texas Scale immediately by email.
All animals are guaranteed to be properly sexed.
Hets are guaranteed, other genetics are identified to the best of our ability.
All animals will have a minimum of 5 consecutive meals and a proper feed response before shipping. We do not guarantee an animal will feed under your care.
Shipping
Live arrival is guaranteed on hub to hub shipments. Shipping will be through FedEx priority overnight on Tuesday, & Wednesday. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide the correct address and any special instructions prior to shipping. Shipments to a FedEx staffed hub must be picked up within 2 hours of delivery or the live guarantee is terminated. We are not responsible for a carrier related delay.
In the unlikely event an animal is DOA, the buyer must notify Texas Scale by email within ONE hour of the delivery receipt with a clear photo of the deceased animal. Any deviation from these requirements terminates live guarantee.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are offered on animals valued above $300 with a 30% non-refundable deposit. Terms of the plan is a 30% down payment with a 30 day period to pay the remaining balance. Animals will be held until the plan is paid in full.
Payments can be made using Venmo, Cashapp, credit/debit card via Square invoicing, or Google Pay.

About Texas Scale
As a nearly lifelong reptile keeper, I have been enjoying this hobby since the early 1980s. Growing up in prime reptile and amphibian territory on the marshes and bayous of the Southeast Texas coast I spent my childhood collecting native species where my passion for reptiles grew right into adulthood. My wife Kassidy came along as a blessing and supported my passion. We built a reptile collection of both venomous and non venomous reptiles with a larger focus on Ball Pythons and Anacondas. Working from our home and providing quality animals to our local market for some years, we decided to go bigger and work in the hobby on larger scale. In 2018 Texas Scale was born.
