The variables that cause price fluctuation may include a supply and demand factor, available quantity, and fall/winter breeding seasons. For example: breeder size females will have a much higher price/demand during Sept, Oct, November for breeding, as oppose to the lower price/demand through April, May. spring hatchling season.
