No reptiles shall be sold to anyone under the age of 18 years without parental consent.
Reptiles will not be shipped to any locales where it is prohibited by state and/or federal laws.
Ordering
Please feel free to order animals via this website or call us anytime to order over the telephone. We will not ship animals until we have spoken to you and agreed upon shipping methods and dates.
Animal Guarantee
We guarantee that any and all animals arrive alive, in good health, eating well, properly sexed and of the correct genetics as advertised. As such, shipping will only proceed during proper weather. If animals are delivered to your door, you must be there to accept the packages or guarantees are void. If required to pick them up from a facility, you must do so within two hours or guarantees are void. Delta Dash shipments must be opened and inspected in front of the Delta representative and any claims made at time of pick-up. If incorrect shipping information is given, guarantees are void. If you are unsatisfied in any way, we must be contacted within 24 hours of delivery.
Payment
Payment must be received in full before shipment or delivery of any animals. We accept the following forms of payment: credit cards, PayPal, personal checks, wire transfers and money orders. Checks must be cleared before animals are shipped. Please make checks out to The Florida Reptile Ranch, LLC.
If you wish to setup a payment plan, please contact us for details. All payments made are transferable but non-refundable, on a case by case basis at our sole discretion.
International Orders
We have a master CITIES license and can ship all international orders within two weeks or to the Hamm Germany shows for a lower shipping rate. If you have any questions on international orders or would like a shipping quote, please contact us for more details.
Returns
The Florida Reptile Ranch does not accept returns on live animal purchases unless the animal was dead on arrival or violated our animal guarantee. Please see our Animal Guarantee section for more information. Any return animals shipped to The Florida Reptile Ranch without prior consent will be refused.
Arrival of your Animal
When your animal arrives, open the containers immediately and inspect it. If everything is okay, place the animal in its cage with fresh water. Shipping is a stressful time for animals. Try not to handle or feed your animal for several days, allowing it acclimate to its new environment. After 3 or 4 days you can attempt to feed your snake. However, if it doesn’t eat, don’t be alarmed as it sometimes takes a few weeks for snakes to fully acclimate. During the first few feedings offer the same meal type as it was fed at our facility. This information will be contained within your package. If anything is suspicious, please don’t hesitate to call us.

About The Florida Reptile Ranch
Hello,
My name is Michael Freedman, and I am the owner of The Florida Reptile Ranch. We are located in Tampa, Florida, where I was born and raised. I have several businesses, but I am especially excited about this one because I have loved reptiles for decades . I have kept everything from rat snakes, amphibians, green tree, water and Nile monitors, chameleons, boas, plus many more and have experience with most of the species around. In high school, I worked at an exotic pet store called "The Snake Pit" in Tampa, if anyone is from around the Bay area and remembers that place.
Growing up, like many of you I am sure, my bedroom had a space heater in it keeping the temperature about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. My closets had the doors removed and a 4'x2'x2' water monitor cage in it. The sliding glass doors that were my entry to the back patio were blocked with an 8'x6'x2.5' iguana cage. Every available space was consumed with cages! Luckily I had great parents who put up with my obsessions, even when the containers of 1,000 crickets somehow escaped and sang to us from crevices in the house for months and loose green tree monitors were climbing on their heads in the middle of the night! Thank you Mom and Dad! Every dollar I made was spent on new reptiles and amphibians, books, rodents, statues and posters. You name it, I bought it if it was reptile/amphibian related. Looking back, I probably should have saved some of that money!
More recently, I have purchased ball pythons and boas from Europe, Africa and across the U.S. I have made a strong effort to buy the best examples of the morphs I wanted and to obtain all of the new exciting morphs that I could. I hope to breed some amazing snakes as a result! This was a time consuming task and a special thank you goes out to my wife for her unwavering support and to my two children Mason and Layla. As amazing as herps are, they don't compare to my family.
