Live animals all fall under our live arrival guarantee when shipped to a hub. If the animal is shipped directly to your home, our live arrival guarantee is void. There is no live arrival guarantee on invertebrates or amphibians. All home deliveries will be sent with a signature required.
We guarantee that the animal being delivered is exactly the one represented in the ad, unless otherwise stipulated in the listing. All animals are described to the best of our abilities on all sales posts, including any defect (such as a nip, or missing toenail etc.) and genetics.
All genetics stated in listings are guaranteed by Reptile Factory. We do not guarantee genetics for third party sales. Example: We sell an animal to Fred, and Fred sells you an animal that he says came from us, we will not extend our guarantee as we cannot be responsible for Fred’s claims.
Please inspect the animal as soon as you unbox it, if there is anything you feel is not up to par health wise please notify us within 2 hours of receiving the animal. If the animal is DOA, you must notify us with in a half hour of receiving the package. If you fail to do so, all guarantees are void. If your animal is held for pick up at a hub, we request that you open the package in your car and inspect the animal immediately. Please note there are no refunds for any dropped tails due to the shipping process.
We guarantee that when the animal(s) leave our care, that they are leaving with a clean bill of health, are mite free and, have been eating regularly for us. Once the animal is no longer in our care, any issues that may arise are out of our control. We do not offer any guarantees past the first 6 hours of arrival. We do not guarantee that an animal will feed under your care.
This is simply due to the fact that we no longer have any control over the animal, so we cannot be held responsible if something should happen after we have trusted you with taking care of the animal. This is the single most difficult aspect of a snake purchase/sale. An animal that fails to thrive in the days or weeks following their purchase is a point of strong opinions for both parties involved in the transaction; buyers are left without a reptile or their money and the seller cannot account for the conditions under which the animal was kept after the sale. This is true even when the animal is sold to an experienced keeper. Please take this into consideration when making your purchase.
All customers are expected to have extensive knowledge of what they are purchasing. We will not be held responsible for any mistakes or accidents brought on by the customer. If you have any questions about any of the animals available, please feel free to ask! We are always more than happy to help and give any and all information needed, as well as point you in the right direction for more information. PLEASE be sure that you have the proper set up ready BEFORE receiving an animal from us. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to us that ALL of our animals are provided good care!
Reptile Factory is not responsible for any veterinary expenses or costs incurred by the buyer for any animal if you take any animal to a veterinarian you do so entirely at your own expense.
We reserve the right to refuse sales to any buyer, for any reason, sorry no sales to minors. Proof of age may be required at our discretion.
INVOICING AND PAYMENTS:
Once we send you a reply requesting you send an email address for an invoice, that animal is no longer available for anyone else to purchase for 12 hours. We are giving you 12 hours to pay the invoice before the animal becomes available again.
We invoice via Square or PayPal.
California sales tax is applied to all animal sales (8.75) but is not applied to any shipping or housing fees.
Payment plans are only eligible for animals that are priced at $550.00 and up. Anything below $550.00 must be paid in full.
All payment agreements require a 50% non-refundable deposit and the remaining balance must be made within 14 days of the first deposit. Our payment plans will also require a housing fee throughout the duration of the animal being in our care.
Housing fees will vary on the size of the enclosure the animal is housed in and care requirements the animal needs.
Housing fees begin to apply for all purchases when the timeframe from purchase date to requested ship date exceeds 5 days.
Non refundable deposits is transferrable to another purchase for one year from date of remittance.
Please note that your failure to read our shipping policy, whether intentional or accidental will under no circumstances be a reason to consider them altered or void.
