Crafty Reptiles specializes in the care and education of all kinds of reptiles while maintaining a fun crafty flair! I started off just being quiet hobby keeper who just enjoyed being around reptiles. However soon I noticed a prevalent issue in my area of homeless, and no longer desired reptiles, and I felt I had to do something. Because of that, Crafty Reptiles have a bit of a varied mix going. I breed my own reptiles (geckos), but I also look to find new homes for other displaced reptiles.

Store Policy

SHIPPING

Please keep in mind that we will not ship reptiles to your door if the daytime highs of your area or ours (Portland, Oregon) are below 40F or above 90F. In cases where daily high temperatures range from 90F-100F we can ship to your local FedEx Ship Center for pickup instead. We will not ship anything in temperatures higher than 100F.

In the hot summers and cold winters we allow holds to be placed on our reptiles if a deposit is paid, please check the "HOLDING" category below for more information.
We ship reptiles via FedEx Priority Overnight on Tuesday or Wednesday for arrival the next day. *Due to continued shipping delays to homes, we are only shipping to approved FedEx hubs for pickup currently.
Shipping price is dependent on your location, with the minimum cost being $45 and the maximum being $70, please contact us at [email protected] if you're curious what the shipping cost would be for your particular area (we’ll need to know your zip code).

IN CASE OF A DOA

We can guarantee that the reptile is in good health when it ships, but sometimes accidents happen during shipping. DOA’s (dead on arrival) reptiles are very rare, but if the reptile is DOA we will refund you all the costs of the animal (sorry, no refund for shipping at this time). So long as: 1.) The correct shipping information was provided when ordered, 2.) you were present at the first delivery attempt to receive the reptile, and 3.) picture proof is provided of the deceased reptile (next to the shipping label) if there is a DOA. Please email all information to [email protected]

Unfortunately, if there is a delay in shipment caused by the carrier, we can't guarantee the animal will be alive on arrival.
Geckos can sometimes (rarely) drop their tails during shipping. There’s unfortunately nothing we can do about this, it can sometimes happen due to stress or poor handling by the carrier. The gecko will still be fine and healthy even with the loss of a tail, they just won’t look quite the same.
Refunds are only available for DOA's, and are dependent on the above criteria.

PLACING A HOLD

If you would like to place a hold on one of the reptiles, you will need to pay half the total price of the reptile upfront to secure your hold. After that, the reptile will be held for you until you’re ready to receive them, or up to 30 days (whichever comes first). At either of these points, you will need to pay the remaining cost of the reptile. Then the reptile can be held for you for longer than a month if needed. Once you are ready to receive the reptile, shipping costs will then need to be paid also.

If you change your mind and want to cancel your hold, you will be refunded up to half the cost of the reptile that was held for you. Meaning, if you had a hold going for over 30 days, and as such paid for the full cost of the reptile, you will only be refunded half. Please be sure that you absolutely want a reptile before placing a hold!

MorphMarket's Default Store Policy specifies any terms which have not been overridden by this Seller's stated policy.
