Store Policy
By purchasing a reptile from DLC_Cresteds you are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions listed below:
An animal that’s priced at $300+ can be put on hold for 25% of the purchase price + shipping, and is non-refundable should you decide not to get that animal. An animal will not be placed on hold until deposit has been received. Holds will be held for up to one month unless specified otherwise.
Payment plans are available and will be on a case by case basis.
All buyers must be at least 18 years of age!
We are not responsible to track you down for payments. Payments must be made BY THE AGREED UPON DATE AND TIME!!! Or the animal will be made available again.
Shipping fees are always an additional cost and paid for by the buyer (Shipping costs can vary). ShipYourReptiles will be used. We will not ship if temperatures, on either end or at any hubs where the animal will be held, are not appropriate. You must be available to receive your animal. If you will not be available, the animal MUST be held at the hub for pick up. Once the animal is delivered you must notify us that the animal arrived safely within 1 hour of drop off at residence or pick up at hub. We only ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays. Local Pick ups are welcome as well.
All reptiles are Quoted with insurance through S.Y.R. ( not having insurance voids live arrival guarantee)
You are responsible for messaging to let me know that your animal arrived safely and in good condition, pictures are preferred as well. If you fail to contact us within 60 minutes of arrival time, all health guarantees are null and void. If your animal dies within 48 hours, I will offer a replacement gecko or credit for purchase of another animal at DLC_Cresteds. Proof of illness and/or death is required. Health guarantees do not cover any injury sustained after arrival....IE: injury from other pets, tail loss, burns, etc. Please try to keep cats away from annimal enclosures, as they are responsible for many animal deaths. Tail loss during shipment is not covered, shipping can cause stress which may lead to tail loss. We are not responsible for any delays or other issues caused by the carrier.
Geckos:
All reptiles sold as Male or Female are guaranteed to be those sexes. All geckos sold as Probable Male/Female are not guaranteed (as they are my best guess based on weight and pore visibility). We don’t guarantee sex under 25 grams.
When a gecko is purchased but remains in my care, prior to shipping, no refunds will be offered in the occurrence of a tail drop. (It happens sometimes for no real reason, although not often).
