Store Policy

ALL PURCHASES MUST BE DONE THROUGH MY WEBSITE: WWW.DRAGGINTAILS.ORG

Before purchasing a dragon you must read the terms & policies as well as the dietary guides found on this site. By paying for a dragon you agree that you have read and agree to all terms.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:

The dragon is guaranteed to arrive alive, but not on time. There is no required signature for delivery if the dragon is being delivered to your home. You must wait for the dragon and retrieve it from the delivery persons hands. If you are picking up the dragon at the hub, you must open the box at the hub within 15 minutes of signing the receipt to verify the welfare of the dragon. If the dragon arrives deceased, and this is exremely rare, you must take a picture and notify me within 15 mintues of the delivery verification on my carrier’s shipping portal. If I am notified later than 15 minutes I will understand you left the dragon on your doorstep or left him in the car and the dragon expired due to negligence.

7 DAY HEALTHY GUARANTEE:

You have 7 days from the day of arrival to notify me if there is an issue with your dragon. This is uncommon, but with live animals things happen. The dietary care guides and enclosure set up guides must be strictly adhered to during this time and no outside advice taken or this guarantee is void. I will review all information and decide if a refund of the purchase price is warranted. Refunds are not given if you do not follow our care guides, the dragon does not like his cage, you purchased the dragon without permission, etc.

PARASITES:

All dragons have parasites. Some of these parasites are species specific and have evolved with its host for a long time. Shipping, enclosure changes, handling, etc cause stress which can affect the immune system....this stress can cause a parasitic imbalance. It is common and normal for your dragon to have a parasite imbalance shortly after arriving to his new home. There are no refunds given if you or your vet determines that your dragon has a parasitic load that needs to be treated …….. this is normal and not caused by this breeder’s improper care or abuse.

SHIPPING PROCEDURE:

Our normal shipping days are Mon-Wed. We ship to hubs for you to retrieve the dragon there. We determine the best day for us as the hub is one hour away. We will correspond with you after your purchase and let you know when the next shipping day is for that week. If the weather is too hot or cold the dragon will be held until a safe day is availalbe to ship.

All carriers can and will have delays for several reasons from time to time. I can not control delays from carriers. The carriers may not give a specific time and do not give guarantees for on time deliveries. Carriers investigate demands for refunds of late arrivals and do not always grant a refund. I do not give refunds of shipping fees, this is the responsibility of the carrier if they choose to do so. There are no refunds of purchase price because your dragon is delayed.

WHEN YOUR DRAGON ARRIVES:

The dragon may be stressed and frightened as he just made up to 2 connections on a plane and was transported on up to 3 delivery vehicles within this period. He may not eat for several days as he acclimates to his new surroundings. We do not have glass cages here, we use melamine and they can not see out of these cages. If you have a glass tank and your dragon is stressed…try to tape newspaper to the outside of the cage and then remove sections a little at a time once you see he is doing better. My dragon room has no kids, tv, loud noises, dogs, cats, etc in it which disrupts my workflow or the dragons…so if this is your environment…the dragon will have a big adjustment. Be patient..they settle in well with some compassion and not so much handling the first week. Please call me at 561-309-9956 if you are concerned..I am here for the life of your dragon to offer you support so that he will thrive in your care.
