EastCoastExotics Captive Bred Reptiles is a small family owned operation. I began keeping ball pythons to share my passion for snakes with my children, which then turned onto breeding. We may not be a large operation, but it is our goal to produce beautiful, quality animals that will attract pet owners, hobbyists and breeders alike. We not only love reptiles, but animals of all types as well. This is just one of many animal related activities we love to do.
Store Policy
Effective January 1st 2021 East Coast Exotics CBR’s store policy overrides any MorphMarket current and future default policy in it’s entirety. Please read our policy carefully.
Purchase and payment plans:
No animals will be shipped until the entire purchase price, including shipping cost, is paid and all funds have cleared in our financial establishment.
We currently accept the following payment methods: Venmo, PayPal (f&f), cash, bank check, bank transfer.
Please note that some payment methods such as Venmo and PayPal do not condone the purchase and sale of live animals while using them as a method of payment. Therefore we ask that you do not use any terms describing the morph or the purchase such “animal”, “snake”, “ball python”. Using terms such as these could lead to a hold placed on the money you paid and the animal will not be shipped until the funds are released or until we receive full payment. We instead ask that you use the animal I.D. number if listing what the purchase was for.
25% non-refundable deposit is required to place a hold on any animal.
Payment plans are offered for any purchase of $300 or more excluding shipping cost.
- Under $300 after deposit is received must be paid in full within 10 days
- $300-$999 after deposit is received must be paid in full within 30 days with weekly installments.
- Any purchase of $1,000 or more must be paid within 60 of receiving a deposit with weekly or bi weekly installments.
If the full amount is not paid within the specified timeline the animal will be placed back on sale to the public and a refund will be issued minus the deposit fee.
If you request more time to make the full payment, or delay shipping an animal that has been paid for in for more then 7 days after final payment, we will hold the animal for an automatic $25 per animal per week to compensate for continued care and feeding.
All sales are final with the following exceptions:
- The animal purchased is proven to be unhealthy
- The animal purchased was incorrectly sexed.
- The animal shipped is not the animal purchased.
- DOA due to poor shipping practices or seller negligence.
Buyer has 1 hour from time the animal is available for pick up from FedEx hub to notify me of DOA and 4 hours to notify me of any other issues listed in the exceptions to file a claim for full or partial refund.
SHIPPING:
Local pick up is always the preferred method
All animals are shipped priority overnight
Shipping is currently only available to U.S. (lower 48) residents.
Shipping to your nearest FedEx ship center for hold at facility and customer pick up only.
If shipping to your residence or place of business it is of the utmost importance that someone be there to receive the package for the first delivery attempt.
Packages will be shipped out on Tuesdays or Wednesday only, unless otherwise requested.
I reserve the right to delay shipping for reasons including, but not limited to: inclement weather, being within holiday shipping times or any other circumstance that will potentially cause delays and/or put the animals health in jeopardy.
LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE :
Animals are guaranteed to arrive alive and well so long as the following criteria is met.
- Must be shipped to a FedEx ship center for hold at facility/pick up
- Must be received within one hour of being available for pickup.
- Must be shipped out on Tuesdays or Wednesdays for Wednesday or Thursday arrival(shipping out any other days of the week have a high risk of delay)
Buyer must report DOA and send over supporting documents within 1 hour of receiving the animal in order to submit a claim for reimbursement.
Live arrival insurance is optional, but always recommended as long as it is being offered by the shipping company. Live arrival insurance, if wanted, is an additional cost of $2.50 per every $100 of the purchase price.
Seller does not take responsibility for DOA, caused by unforeseen delays or injury caused by the shipping company.
Health and Genetics
- All animals are guaranteed to be healthy and have had a minimum of 3 non assist fed meals when they are shipped
- All animal genetics are guaranteed to be properly identified. Any genes listed as “pos” or “possible” are not guaranteed. Unfortunately sometimes mistakes are made. In the event an animal is sold and the genes are improperly indentified I will either offer a partial refund or a full refund once the animal is returned alive and healthy.
- All animals are guaranteed to be properly sexed.
MorphMarket's Default Store Policy
specifies any terms which have not been overridden by this Seller's stated policy.
