Store Policy
Gecko Island Terms and Conditions
We only accept payment via PayPal. This gives us and you the protection in the sale. All payments must be cleared prior to shipping.
Payment Plan Policy:
All payment plans must be pre approved.
Payment Duration: Full payment for the gecko must be completed within 30 days from the date the initial deposit is made.
Payment Method: All transactions should be conducted through our PayPal account.
Forfeiture of Deposit: If the full payment isn't received within the specified 30-day window, the deposit will be considered forfeited.
Discounts: Discounts cannot be applied to payment plans unless explicitly mentioned.
Reservation: No gecko will be reserved without a payment being made.
Sale Finality: Please note that once a purchase has been made, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
—WEATHER—
We reserve the right to refuse any shipment due to weather. The animal’s safety is top priority. Some might ship in cooler/warmer temperatures, but because of mechanical and human error we are not willing to take the chance of multi-day delays with heat/cool packs running out.
Once payment is received in full, weather/temperature holds are acceptable if the sending or receiving weather is not within a healthy range for the animal.
USA Live Arrival Guarantee
Animals are guaranteed to arrive alive and healthy as long as:
– Shipping temperatures over the duration of the shipment are within a safe range.
– Someone is available to receive the package when it arrives at closest FedEx hub.
– Accurate shipping address provided.
– We are contacted within 30 minutes of receiving the shipment with the status of the animal/photo.
– In the event of a DOA - all above requirements must be met, no exceptions, and we must be contacted immediately to proceed. A vet necropsy can be required to determine cause of death.
– Once you receive the animal past the 30 minutes of delivery/pickup, it is your responsibility to provide proper care. We are not responsible for improper temperatures, over/mishandling, improper caging. The animals thrived in our care, photos and video provided before purchase of healthy condition of animals.
*While it is unlikely the animal will drop a tail during shipping, we are not responsible for dropped tails over the course of the shipment.
Gecko Tails
The dropping of the tail does not have a negative effect on their health or breeding. We are not responsible for the rare occasions that a tail is lost during shipping or dropped while in your care.
Please do your research on how to house and care for your animals before purchasing any. We have no control over how the animals will be looked after or what diseases or parasites they might be exposed to once it leaves our home.
Proper diet, housing, and temperature are crucial when caring for your new animal. A varied diet of Pangea Crested Gecko CGD and crickets/roaches dusted with calcium is strongly recommended for geckos.
*** Geckos are sensitive to heat. We DO NOT recommend an external heat source for our geckos. ***
Note on Eating/Feeding
When animals are placed into a new environment, they will be slightly stressed. This stress can cause them to eat less. Reptiles, unlike our furry friends, do not require to eat daily. Please give your new animal a week or more of no handling to settle into their new environment.

• $50 flat rate (unless stated otherwise)
• Correct Shipping Information Must Be Provided! We are not responsible for your mistakes (Pls triple check the address of your nearest FedEx Hub Center)
We only ship through FedEx Priority Overnight. Our shipping days can be Monday-Wednesday for deliveries on Tuesdays-Thursdays only. Temperatures should be between 35 to 90. You can check yours and our weather (06516) here. If weather conditions are not favorable, please contact us prior to discuss holds.
FedEx Priority Overnight normally arrives by 10:30. In more remote areas the delivery time could be later. You must be at FedEx hub when your animal arrives.
We ship directly to your closest FedEx Hub Center because the animals typically arrive earlier than home delivery and are at room temperature, not on the back of a hot truck driving around. Please note it is a FedEx Ship Center and not a FedEx Office location.
Labels will need:
• Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Address of nearest FedEx Hub Center
**We will ONLY ship to your nearest FedEx Hub Center. Verify this is a FedEx Hub Center and not a FedEx Office location**
Always triple check the address you provide of your nearest FedEx Hub Center is the correct address for shipment. In addition to your address, we will need your e-mail address and a good phone number to reach you. This goes on the shipment label in case FedEx needs to reach you and is required for live animal shipments.
All Animal Purchases are Final
We do not refund the cost of our animals under any exception. Please make sure you are prepared for your new pet or project, and that you understand the overall cost of caring for your new pet.
