Here at Gwen's Geckos we take proper and efficient care of all of our animals to the fullest extent. All babies are handled everyday to every two days since one week after hatching so they are as tame as possible before arriving with their new owners. They are also weighed weekly to ensure growth and genuine healthy geckos. Parent breeding season starts March 1st and ends September 1st.. We make sure all geckos have an at least five month resting period to restore healthy weights before the next season. Crested gecko eggs are incubated at room temperature.. Crested gecko hatchlings are also kept in room temperature climates in 6 quart tubs along with misting twice daily. Our crested geckos only eat meal replacements, brands include Pangea and Repashy, we can provide your individual geckos favorite flavor upon request. Leopard gecko eggs are incubated at 85-87 degrees Fahrenheit so we can receive randomized genders.. Leopard gecko hatchlings are housed in 16 quart tubs with their cool side being room temperature and their warm side ranging from 85-90 degrees. Our Leopard geckos mainly eat dubia roaches along with the occasional meal worm, super worm, and horn worm.

Store Policy
Shipping policy: Before shipping any animals, weather must range in appropriate temperatures for at least three days to ensure they will be alive on arrival. If payment has already been made then the gecko is reserved to you and will be shipped at atleast 12 grams. Shipping fees vary depending on buyers location. Hot and cold packs are provided in packaging to help maintain proper temperature. Boxes will have breathing holes and will be marked as "Perishable, handle with care, Live Animal" to inform the shipping companies of what the package contains. If the package has been damaged in any way, shape, or form the shipping company will be held responsible as we took every measurement possible to inform them of the package contents. You must track your package before arrival to ensure you're home to receive the animal, you will be emailed the shipping number to do so.. If you neglect to be home at the time the package arrives, we are not responsible for anything that happens to the animal. You are responsible for shipping fees and they are non-refundable under any circumstance. Only shipping options available are over-night to one day shipping as these are the only humane shipping periods.
Returns and refunds policy: Once the gecko arrives and is now in your care, we are no longer responsible as we make sure they are in perfect health before they leave our care. Refunds will only be provided if you can provide an autopsy, signed by your exotic veterinarian, confirming the gecko was ill prior to its arrival. If you pay for a gecko in advance and change your mind, we will not refund your money as you should always be 100% positive before making any purchase. If geckos drop their tails due to the stress of being shipped, we will not be held responsible and no refunds will be provided as geckos can often drop their tails for no apparent reason.
