Please email us your zip code along with the ID information of the animal(s) you are interested in for a comprehensive quote that includes shipping via FedEx Priority Overnight through ReptilesExpress.com. Shipments are currently restricted to the continental United States. To ensure the well-being of the animals, deliveries are scheduled between Monday and Wednesday to prevent packages from lingering in warehouses over the weekend. For optimal transit conditions, we recommend shipping to your nearest approved FedEx hub. This practice minimizes the time spent in transit and guarantees that the package remains in a temperature-controlled environment until retrieval. Alternatively, arrangements can be made for delivery to a business or residence, with a mandatory signature upon receipt. For a list of approved FedEx hubs for live reptile shipments, please contact us.

At Hardin Herpetologica, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals in our care is our top priority. In cases where temperatures are either too high or too low during transit, including at the main FedEx distribution hub, we take proactive measures to safeguard the animals. We understand the critical impact that extreme temperatures can have on reptiles, and thus, we may choose to temporarily hold the animal until conditions are suitable for shipping. This practice ensures that our delicate creatures remain healthy and thrive during the transportation process..

Payment

Payments can be made through PayPal or Zelle (preferred) at [email protected], via Venmo @hardinherp, or alternatively, we can issue a Square invoice for credit card payments.

Due to the quickness of sales, it is first come, first served. Kindly note that invoices must be settled within 24 hours to secure your order; failure to do so may result in the automatic cancellation of the invoice without prior notice. Thank you for your understanding.

If you wish to establish a payment plan for an animal, please note that a 20% non-refundable deposit is mandatory to secure the animal temporarily. The remaining balance must be settled in full within 30 days of the initial payment date. Failure to fulfill the complete payment within the designated time frame may result in forfeiture of the deposit and the animal becoming available for other potential buyers. Generally, all sales on animals at Hardin Herpetologica are final to ensure the well-being of our creatures. Rest assured that our animals are guaranteed to be healthy, mite-free, properly sexed, and eating before they are sent to their new homes. If you find yourself unsatisfied with your animal upon arrival, we urge you to reach out to us immediately within 24 hours. While we strive to provide the best quality animals and service, refunds or exchanges for animals that perish outside of our care after 7 days are typically not feasible. We handle all issues on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

When set up correctly following our care-sheet guidelines for rainbow boas located under the Husbandry tab on our website, reptiles thrive in captivity. Sadly, improper husbandry conditions such as insufficient temperatures or humidity can lead to rapid decline and fatality in these creatures. We are always here to offer care advice and tips to help ensure the optimal health and happiness of your pet. Prior to shipping, we encourage you to share pictures of your animal's habitat so we can ensure they will be entering a well-prepared environment.
