About
We are a small family breeder of Crested Geckos. This is not our main source of income and we are hobbyists first and a business second which ensures our main focus is always on the health and care of each and every animal we produce.
Store Policy
ORDERING AND PAYMENT
All orders are made by phone, email, or text. At this time we purposely do not offer completing orders through the shopping cart as we prefer to speak with the buyer first to make sure they know what is being purchase and to confirm availability for shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Orders are processed on a “first come first served” basis. We do not put animals on hold and or take deposits. Each animal is considered available until payment is fully processed. Furthermore all animals must be paid for in full before they will be shipped. Orders can be cancelled if they have not yet shipped and are refunded in full in the form of store credit only.
SHIPPING
We ship our animals using FedEx priority overnight. We ship out Monday – Thursday for delivery the next day.
Shipping charges will apply to anywhere in the US.
We will provide you with a shipment tracking number with every order.
Extreme weather conditions may prevent us from sending your package on the date planned. If it is necessary to change the shipping date we will contact you to ensure someone will be available to receive the package on the new delivery date. If we make at least three attempts to contact you, and you do not reply within 72 hours of our first attempt to contact you, then we reserve the right to cancel the order, and refund your payment in the form of store credit. Store credit may not be redeemed for cash.
Someone must be available to receive the delivery of your purchase on the first attempt. We cannot guarantee the well-being of animals that are left outside in the elements or returned to the delivery truck because no one was available to receive them. It is the buyer’s responsibility to contact us within 30 minutes of the delivery time recorded by FEDEX to report any issue related to delivery. If your purchase is not received successfully upon the first delivery attempt, or is not brought indoors and unboxed within 30 minutes of delivery, then the live arrival guarantee is forfeited.
You are NOT required to sign upon delivery to receive the live arrival guarantee. Delivery companies will often not request a signature even if they are asked to. If your animal has any apparent health issues upon arrival please contact us immediately.
We will not knowingly ship an animal to any location where that animal cannot be legally shipped to or possessed. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that they are in compliance with State and local laws.
GUARANTEE
Each and every animal purchased from CJP Exotic Reptiles comes with a live arrival guarantee. If the unthinkable happens and your animal does not arrive live your purchase will be fully refunded in the form of store credit. Here at CJP Exotic Reptiles we do not ship out animals knowingly of any health issues. We do not put animals up for sale unless they are 100% healthy to our best knowledge.
RESERVATIONS
We do not reserve or take deposits on any animals but we do accept submissions for our mailing list where we will send out updates of when new animals are available. You can also follow our social media pages to see these new updates as well.
