Local Reptiles started from our 15+ years of reptile keeping. We have been breeding since 2019 and are focusing on high quality, selective breed ball pythons.
We take pride in the quality of the animals we purchase, care for, and produce. Cleanliness and care lead to amazing pets and fantastic breeders. We take time to provide excellent husbandry and handle all of our balls with care.

GENETIC / SEX
We do our very best to determine genetics and sex (male or female) prior to any sale. When breeding multiple dominant, co-dominant, and recessive genes together, there is always a risk that more or less genes can be in any snake. Because of this we will do our best to represent snakes as accurately as possible and ensure all buyers are aware of the morph possibilities. Local Reptiles exists to push the boundaries on what has been done before in ball python breeding. As a result, there may be little to no research on similar morphs. Exact genetics will be determined through selective breeding and trial and error. By purchasing a snake from Local Reptiles you agree to the associated risks of purchasing snakes.
SHIPPING / GUARANTEED LIVE ARRIVAL
Local Reptiles will always ship through Fedex (Priority Overnight) and guarantee live arrival. Animals are shipped Tuesday and Wednesday only, for delivery the next business day. Exceptions for Monday shipping can be made, but the guaranteed live arrival will be waived.
We take all necessary precautions to make sure the animal is packaged to minimize stress and increase delivery optimization. We want the animal to be shipped to you as quick as possible, with the least amount of stress put on the animal.
Local Reptiles will always coordinate with buyers before we ship a reptile. Fedex hubs are recommended and will ensure live arrival. If door-to-door shipping is required, Live Arrival is waived and buyer assumes the responsibility to care of the snake from time of arrival. Shipping prices may very depending on location.
HEALTH GUARANTEE
Snakes purchased from Local Reptiles will never be shipped with any known health defects, such as mites, ticks, or any other diseases. All animals will be honestly represented and 100% healthy at time of delivery. We offer a 7-day health guarantee, in the event any challenge comes up. Proof of adequate husbandry and proper care (correct size meals, substrate, temperatures, etc) need to be provided within 7 days to realize the 7-day health guarantee.
PAYMENT PLANS
Payment plans are on a case by case basis. They require a minimum of 25% down. Please contact us to discus payment plan options.
GENERAL TERMS
Local Reptiles exists to be fair and ethical in all inquiries and transactions. We will be honest and upfront in all of our communication with customers. We reserve the right to refuse service or a sale to anyone for any reason. This is mostly due to scams or customers who showcase their inability to care for the animal. Local Reptiles does not take responsibility for a customer's (or potential customer's) lack of knowledge or poor husbandry standards.
