Store Policy
Terms of Sale:
If a gecko is sold or put on hold, we will mark with "SOLD" or "HOLD." All geckos are available if no comment has been made that it is sold or on hold. Discounts are available when purchasing multiple geckos, please message us for details.
Diet:
Our geckos are fed Pangea Fruit Mix Complete and occasional dusted crickets. All geckos over 2 grams are individually kept in enclosures at proper humidity levels with abundant foliage and hiding places.
Pricing:
Pricing reflects the time put into caring for our geckos, their quality, as well as the cost to care for them (food, decor, etc.). We guarantee you will not be disappointed in our customer service, or the quality of our reptiles. Please message for more information.
Shipping:
We use Reptiles2You for our live shipments. The forecast low at both the seller's and buyer's location must be 40 degrees or warmer and the forecast high must not exceed 80 degrees. We will hold all of the buyers geckos until appropriate shipping weather is observed. We (Crestie Madness) are located in the Chicago Suburbs, so shipping is typically best in the Spring and Fall. Health:
Due to the delicate nature of reptiles, we cannot guarantee health for a long period of time. We give a 7 day health guarantee. If something is wrong with the gecko, we need to be notified within 24 hours of the change in health. Should a gecko arrive with worms or other parasites, we accept responsibility for a reasonable vet bill within 7 days of arrival to your location. We do require a fecal test to be performed by a licensed exotics veterinarian to confirm the presence of any parasites. We test our geckos regularly for parasites and do not foresee this happening, but we won't leave you in a tough spot and will help out to the best of our ability should this issue arise. We are always available for help and advice but do urge you to contact your exotics veterinarian for care and help with your new gecko. If you feel your new gecko is unhealthy or not acting right, please contact a local exotics vet immediately and let us know as soon as possible.
Sexing (pore checks):
We will state the sex (male or female) or "unsexed" in the description for each animal we have for sale. The term "probable" means we are not 100% sure and are not guaranteeing the sex of the gecko. We typically only guarantee sex on geckos 20 grams and greater.
