Salmon is a Polygenic mutation.
History
The Salmon-hypo line was started by Rich Ihle in the mid 1990s from a pet store boa. It’s thought that this original boa was produced from breeding between a Panamanian-hypo and a Colombian boa. [1]

Body
The hypo mutation reduces the amount of melanin and when line bred can produce very bright, clean snakes with no black markings at all. [2]
