About
A & J Middle River Retiles, we are a husband and wife with a huge passion for reptiles and animals in general. Our little farm has a wide range of exciting life. We also have 4 kiddos that are involved with us. We haven't been breeding leopard geckos for a long time but we take pride in what we do and make sure it is done correctly. We focus on health and quality over quantity. It is not about the money but the joy we can bring into your home like we have ours! You can count on honestly when buying from us.
Store Policy
*ALL SALES ARE FINAL
*Any animal for sale is on a first come first serve basis.
*You may place an animal on hold by paying a non - refundable holding payment 30% of the selling price for animals $100 or more. Please contact us if interested in placing an animal on hold.
*Payments will be made through Paypal. Your payment process will be safe and secure. Please contact us if you are interested in one of our animals.
*The animal will not be shipped until the full payment has been confirmed and no longer pending.
*We have the option of Local pickup. Please contact us if you are interested in local pickup.
*We care a lot about our animals. A & J Reptiles reserves the right to refuse service to anyone we feel may not be the right choice for our animal.
*The sex of an animal is not guaranteed if it is temperature sexed or unknown and is a hatchling or juvenile.
*Hets are not guaranteed unless stated as 100%.
*Hatchlings can be flighty, skittish and may try to bite. We handle and work with every animal, but each animal is different with their own unique temperament. Some may take extra time to tame. New environment and new humans play a role into their behavior too, so patience and time is needed.
SHIPPING POLICY
*Once Payment has been received in full and processed, you will get an email from us to set up the shipping date.
*We guarantee your animal will arrive alive and healthy. In the unlikely event that an animal is dead on arrival (DOA) we will require an email with pictures within 1 hour of delivery time. We will issue a credit for a future purchase or a refund for the animal.
*Refunds will only be issued in the amount of the animal, not the shipping fee.
*We WILL NOT ship an animal in unsafe weather conditions. Weather must be above 38 degrees and Under 90 degrees. If the weather is too hot or too cold, the animal shipment will be postponed until conditions are ideal.
*Shipping arrangements can be delayed due to Holidays, inclement weather, and/or too hot or too cold of temperatures.
*To Comply with our guarantee live delivery, someone must be home to accept the package of the animal at the first attempted delivery. If a package has not been dropped off with a person the guarantee is void.
*If nobody will be home when the animal is to arrive to your address, you can request to have the animal held at the carrier prior to shipping the animal. You must be able to pick up the animal before the carrier closes on the arrival day or the shipping guarantee will be void.
*We will ship Monday - Wednesday.
*Shipping only to the lower 48 states.
*Shipping cost is based on your zip code. Please disclose this information to us so we are able to tell you what your shipping cost will be.
*Expect shipping to be anywhere between $50 and $110 for 1 or 2 Leopard geckos shipped in a 7x7x6 sized box. Shipping cost is based on weight and size of the box, so keep this in mind when shipping multiple animals or larger animals, this can make shipping cost even more.
*We use FedEx Priority Overnight Shipping.
*You'll get a Tracking Number to track your package.
*Arrival of the Animal will be the following morning of the shipping day. On average, delivery will be made around 10am, but be prepared for them to come sooner or later that day.
*We will keep you updated every step of the way and work with you to ensure you get your animal alive, healthy and happy.
*Leopard gecko hatchlings will be shipped once they reach a weight of 15 grams.
