TERMS and POLICIES
Please review all of our policies carefully before making a purchase. Our goal here is to ensure a positive transaction for both parties.
GENERAL POLICIES
AR Reptile House will make every effort to ensure your transaction is a positive one. Emails and phone calls will be answered promptly and customers will be treated with respect. All animals will be honestly represented and 100% healthy at the time of delivery. All animals are guaranteed to be free of internal and external parasites. All animals are guaranteed to be properly sexed. All animals are guaranteed to be eating before being offered for sale. It is the customer's responsibility to learn how to properly care for the animals they purchase. AR Reptile House cannot take responsibility for a person's lack of knowledge or poor husbandry skills. If AR Reptile House determines that a customer lacks the proper experience or facilities to care for an animal, the transaction will be terminated.
GENETIC GUARANTEE
Every Heterozygous (Het) and Homozygous gene carrier produced at AR Reptile House will have a unique identification code assigned and picture taken. Your invoice will come with a photographed certificate detailing the genetics of any animal you purchase. We will have photo archives of every animal we have ever produced or sold. We will verify the genetics of any animal we sell 1, 2, or even 10 years later as a service to our customers. AR Reptile House is a small operation and we intend to keep it that way.
PAYMENT PLANS
Payment plans will be made available on prices of $400 and up. Payment plans are available only at full listed price. Payment plans are not available for discounted/negotiated/offered prices. Payment plans will generally be between 1 to 6 months in duration depending on the amount of the purchase. 6-month plans are very rare and only granted for high-dollar purchases. To hold an animal AR Reptile House requires a 25% non-refundable deposit. After the minimum 25% deposit is received the animal/s will be taken off the market and held for the customer. Animals will be fed and maintained as usual with no extra charge to the customer. If for whatever reason the customer can not complete the payment plan as agreed to, all monies in excess of the 25% down payment will be refunded after the animal is reposted and sold at current market price as determined by AR Reptile House. The 25% non-refundable deposit is not transferable and it is meant to absorb the costs associated with holding and removing the animal from market. If the Animal you have put a deposit on dies in our care we will offer you a comparable animal or offer a complete refund including deposit.
SHIPPING, DELIVERY and LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
AR Reptile house will offer delivery to any animal you purchase to any of the shows we attend at no additional charge.
It is the customer’s responsibility to pay the actual shipping cost. (this fee is not included in the price of the animal)
AR Reptile House will use FED Ex (via Ship Your Reptiles) or Delta Airlines to ship your animals. Animals will be only shipped Monday – Thursday. Door to Door live arrival guarantee will be offered only when the temperatures on the receiving end are above 40 degrees and below 90 degrees and the customer must be present to sign for the package on the first attempt or the guarantee will be void. If the temperature is below 40 degrees or above 90 degrees on the receiving end the package will be required to be “hold for pick up” at your local FED Ex Customer Center for the live arrival guarantee to be in effect. If the customer insists that the package be delivered door to door when the temperature are not within the parameters of above 40 degrees or below 90 degrees on the receiving end, they must assume the risk and waive their live-arrival guarantee and live arrival guarantee will be void. Please make sure that we have all your shipping information, and that your payment method reflects your actual shipping address (ex. PayPal or Credit Card Billing address). We are not responsible for losses if an incorrect mailing address is submitted with a PayPal or Credit Card invoice. All animals shipped will be properly packaged and when applicable packed with a heat or cold pack.
If an animal is Dead on Arrival (DOA), you must notify us via Phone Call and e-mail as soon as possible and no later than 1 hour after delivery. If the animal dies in transit or is DOA AR Reptile House will replace the animal if possible with an equivalent animal, issue credit for the full amount of the purchase which can be used towards the purchase of any animal in the future or refund .the cost of the animal minus shipping after reasonable proof of the animal's death has been provided. Shipping is non refundable.

For your convenience, AR Reptile House accepts all major Credit Cards, Postal Money Orders, and PayPal.
