Store Policy

All specimens are guaranteed to be correctly sexed and healthy with good demeanor prior to shipping, unless previously discussed and agreed upon. I do not guarantee animal temperament unless otherwise specified and do not offer refunds because you are not able to properly handle the snake or changed your mind, too small or too big, don't want to wait for safe shipping conditions, can't complete your payment plan, etc. Please do your research and be financially prepared. I want you to have fun and enjoy the experience with the awesome world of pythons!

For the life of your snake, you will get unlimited assistance with anything you need regarding its care. All you need to do is send an inquiry on here or email me at [email protected].

SHIPPING:
Shipped only via FedEx Priority overnight with weather permitting (between 40°F-90°F). Rates range from $40-100 depending on destination (may be more if ordering multiple snakes in a single order due to weight and or having to use multiple boxes.). Will only ship Mondays through Wednesdays as this reduces chances for shipping delays and other issues. I will not ship until order is confirmed with you and you will have someone home or business to receive your new snake(s). Shipping is included on purchases $1500 and up.

Please open shipping boxes and inspect all snakes immediately upon receiving. If you have any concerns regarding your order, you must email me within 3 hours of receiving your shipment. If I have not received an email within 3 hours, I will consider the transaction complete and all responsibilities to the buyer.
I'M VERY RESPONSIVE & USUALLY RESPOND WITHIN A FEW HRS. If longer than 6 hrs to respond, it's on me and I'll honor the extended wait time.

DOA:
In the unlikely event that an animal is dead on arrival aka DOA, picture proof will be required. Please email me immediately and do not dispose of the animal before contact. If disposed before contact and no proof is provided, I will not replace your snake or issue refund. Snakes DOA with proof will be replaced (a specimen with the same morph or different morphs, if same is not available. If different, it can be less or higher in value than original specimen. Must pay difference if higher. If less, difference will be credited ASAP.) or you may receive a refund at our discretion.

PAYMENT PLANS:
Payment plans are allowed with 50% deposit up to for 4 weeks max or minimum 2 snakes for 6 weeks with grand total pricing of minimum $4000 with 40% deposit. Payments made at whatever frequency as long as total balance is paid within 4 or 6 wks.
Your snake will be shipped as soon as all of your payments are completed and received.
Payments and deposits are non-refundable unless I'm unable to provide the animal(s) as agreed. Shipping fees are non-refundable as well.
After 2 missed payments and 2 attempts to get ahold of or notify you within 3-5 business days, the snake will be re-posted for sale. Please plan accordingly and be financially prepared. I want you to have the fun owning a serpent.

DISCOUNTS:
2 to 3 snakes - 15% off the least expensive specimen. 4 to 5 - 30% off the least expensive specimen. 6 or more and you will receive a free snake of your choice with value of $1000 and under, pending availability. If a snake $1000 and under is not available, you'll receive 60% off least expensive specimen. PAYMENT PLAN NOT ALLOWED WITH DISCOUNT. Occasionally, there will be certain specimens excluded from discounts due to its very high value and or rarity.

PAYMENTS:
I accept payments through PayPal, Venmo, official bank check, and Zelle only.

HOLDS:
Can hold a snake of your choice for $24 for 24 hours or $72 for 48 hours. Non-refundable. Time is valuable so are my animals. Investment grade snakes of $5000 and up may be put on hold for a max of 4 days for $200.

Velvet Snakepit is not liable or responsible for failure to meet local, state, or federal regulations. Please do thorough research on the specified species of pythons for your area. If payment is completed and it is later found that the snake is not permitted in your area, the animal will not be shipped and a minimum 20% re-stocking fee will be applied.
