Intrinsically Ectothermic LLC is a father-son partnership that offers thriving, beautiful lizards and other herps that have been produced in our own terraria.
We have deep knowledge and understanding from over 30 years of observing and breeding lizards in our terraria. In that time, we have reproduced over 60 species and counting.
When you purchase your lizard from Intrinsically Ectothermic, you will receive a robust and thriving specimen. We take satisfaction in the health and quality of our entire collection. Every lizard that leaves our care must pass one final examination to ensure that it meets our high standards before we pass it along to you.

Store Policy
Shipping
Weather permitting, we ship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays via Fedex Overnight Priority through Redline Shipping. We ship to a Fedex Ship Center of your choice for PICKUP, as that is safest, especially in hot or cool weather.
Payment
We accept Payment through Godaddy Payments, a card processor like Square which takes all major credit and debit cards. It has less fees for sellers than most alternatives. We prefer to stay away from Paypal as much as possible these days due to their invasive and inconvenient policies.
Payment Plans
We do sometimes allow payment plans. In such cases, a nonrefundable initial down payment of 30% of total purchase (including shipping) is required before holding the animal(s) in question. The remaining 70% will be due 30 days from the date of the initial payment at the latest. Any payments made before completion of the plan are nonrefundable. Failure to submit payment by the agreed upon date may result in a late fee of 10% of total purchase, plus an additional 10% per week. Terms are subject to change at our discretion and with the agreement of both involved parties.
Live Arrival/Health Guarantee
At Intrinsically Ectothermic LLC, we are committed to the health of our animals and take great care in our shipping. We have not needed to use our Live Arrival/Health Guarantee so far. Regardless, things do happen and we cannot promise a perfect record forever. Although it is incredibly unlikely that you should need our guarantee, the terms are described below for your reference.
All animals purchased through Intrinsically Ectothermic LLC are guaranteed live arrival under the following conditions. Animals must be shipped to Fedex Ship Center for pickup and received on the same day of delivery*. If you have any concerns over a potential health issue with your animal, a message must be sent to us within 48 hours of pickup**. If shipment is delayed, any health issues MUST be reported to us within 2 hours of being available for pickup in order to qualify for Live Arrival Guarantee. In the event of a dead on arrival (DoA), photo and video evidence must be provided to us within a 2 hour window so we can assess the situation and get this info to Redline Shipping within 4 hours as per Redline Shipping Insurance requirements. In such a case, replacement of the animal(s) with no extra shipping charge to the buyer will be arranged if possible. If not, a full refund or credit can be applied.
*We do sometimes allow shipment to door with more strict weather/temperature requirements in order to receive our live arrival guarantee. In such cases, the shipment MUST be received on the first delivery attempt or the guarantee is void. If shipment is delayed in to door orders, the 2 hour window for health issues applies upon delivery. Inquire for details.
**In the event you receive an animal you believe to be unhealthy and contact us within the 48 hour period, an exchange or return may be arranged at our discretion. We have seen many cases that have blown up on social media where the customer receives an unhealthy animal and does not want to ship said animal back to the seller due to the current health issue. Yet they still expect a refund. In such a case, we must insist on the return of the animal to our facility in order for us to both confirm the issue and ensure the best possible care for the animal going forward. In confirming the issue, we can also look to where things may have gone wrong leading up to it so as to prevent another case in the future. We can not make you return the animal to us, but know that should you choose to keep it, the recovery of the animal is solely in your hands from that point forward and you will not receive any monetary compensation or refund from us.
