About
Durian's Legacy Geckos is made in memory of my first high end gecko that I obtained back in 2010ish, a full white quad pinned tricolor pinstripe I named Durian. Durian came from Crown Jeweled reptiles, out of Speckled like a Leopard and Bullet. The name Durian comes from a fruit nicknamed the "King of Fruits", and at the time he was one of the best geckos on the market so I named him Durian as in the "King of Geckos". The whole breeding project is built on recreating and building a better more refined version of him. I'm Lucky I still have his genetics through one male, which is one of his great-grandsons -> Ophelia. I had to stop breeding back in 2018, however, I am super excited to start back up, and have a bunch of nice genetics to work with. Keep an eye out, I may just be working with white quads, but this line has been known to throw out Halloweens, tangerines, empty backs, super stripes, and pixels, and a few funky ones as well. At the moment I'm working with old lineage that was the best back in the day but seems like they have been forgotten, it should be interesting to see what comes out! Stay tuned <3
