I’m Angelica Gills, and I began Fangs and Bangs in 2013. I am based out of Sacramento, California.

I breed crested geckos, gargoyle geckos, and have sarasinorum, Pine Island chahuoa, and agricolae in the works. My main focus is on really dark geckos (no axanthic or charcoals in my lines currently).

I do offer shipping, within the lower 48 USA only, when weather is accommodating! Winter/Summer holds are always welcome, safety first!

Store Policy

Payment:
We accept payments through Venmo. Local sales can be paid in cash, but require a deposit first.
No geckos will be considered on hold without a deposit.
We generally do not offer payment plans. But on the occasion we consider payment plans, they are on geckos $300 and above (not including shipping). When inquiring on a payment plan, we require the following
- a minimum of 40% nonrefundable deposit (to place gecko on hold).
- the full amount to be paid off within 30 days of the initial deposit.
- frequent communication! Keep us updated on weather, if anything comes up preventing you from making payments (life happens, we get it!), and just asking about your gecko in general.
Occasionally, we also offer short term payment plans, which are on geckos $400 and above. However, this plan requires:
- a minimum of 25% nonrefundable deposit (to place gecko on hold).
- the full amount to be paid off within 10 days of the initial deposit.

At the agreed end date, if the gecko is not paid for in full, we reserve the right to keep half the funds, not including the nonrefundable deposit, and to relist the gecko. If you don’t contact us about a refund (half the payments, not including the nonrefundable deposit) within 5 days of broken clause, we reserve the right to keep all payments prior.
If a gecko sale is cancelled before shipment, we reserve the right to a non refundable 25% deposit of any order as a restocking/relisting fee.
Shipping:
We use Priority Overnight shipping through ShipYourReptiles.com and Reptiles2You.com.
We ship only within the lower 48 US states (NO Alaska, NO Hawaii).
We only ship between 50F (overnight low) and 90F (daytime high) degrees.
We use phase 22 Cryro-paks when needed. They maintain a constant temperature around 74F and are reusable when you get them, so don’t throw them away!
We use “Live Animal” shipping boxes, and pack them snug with crumpled newspaper or shredded paper so there’s no shifting during their travels. Secured on the inside with Styrofoam inserts for temperature regulation and box stability.
We ship to hubs and home addresses. DUE TO COVID AND RECENT DELAYS, we are only shipping to hubs currently.
For home addresses, someone must be home to receive the package. For HUB pickups, we need an update with photo of gecko in deli in the car. We require an update within an hour. ***If no update occurs within the hour of delivery/pickup, all health and DOA guarantees are void.*** We will assume no responsibility for what condition your gecko may be in.
If weather is too hot or cold to ship/receive in, I do not mind holding the gecko until it is safe shipping weather. Safety is priority.
Tail Loss:
These geckos are known to drop their tails. It is a completely aesthetic deal, and with certain geckos, they do not regenerate. In the event that your gecko drops it’s tail during shipment (or anytime before or after shipment), we are not responsible. There will be no refund or discount given over tail loss.
Sexing:
Geckos under 15 grams are not a guaranteed sex. As often as I pore check and try to accurately post the pore status, there is a possibility of being incorrect on smaller geckos. Please note that these are best guesses. I use a jewelers loupe to magnify and assess pores.
Health Guarantee:
We ensure your new gecko will be healthy. We stand by the health of our geckos, and we will cover their health for the first two days in their new home.
Some geckos may get cold or sluggish during shipping. It will be okay, just put them in their enclosure and let them be. If they are cold, do not warm them up too quickly! This can shock their system and have negative consequences. Let them acclimate gradually. Do not mist at this time (wait at least 2 hours). If they are alert and jumpy, go ahead and give them a light misting and proceed with your feeding routine that evening.
If your gecko happens to pass away within the two day health guarantee, we require photos of the deceased gecko, proof of temperatures, the enclosure, and their food and water. As well as all interactions with the gecko within the past 48 hours. After this, we will determine either a replacement or possible refund, depending on what has been concluded to be the cause. In some cases, a possible vet necropsy might be needed, and I would cover vet bills and gecko refund if determined to be an underlying/previous illness. If necropsy is needed, place deceased gecko in a ziplock bag, and place in a refrigerator. NO FREEZER!
All guarantees are voided if no update is made within an hour of gecko’s arrival.
DOA:
As uncommon as it is, sometimes death on arrival can occur. If your gecko is dead on arrival (DOA), we will assume all responsibility of this and refund the entire gecko and shipping. We would require a photo of the deceased gecko in the deli cup (unpacking videos are preferred). If the gecko is being claimed as DOA, and we are sent a photo of the deceased gecko in an enclosure, we will not be held responsible. See Health Guarantee above if your gecko passes away in the enclosure AFTER checking in with us letting us know that the gecko has made it safely. ***All guarantees are voided if no update is made within an hour of gecko’s arrival.***
