We accept payment through Paypal Cash App Square and Venmo. Paypal enables the secure use of credit or debit cards. We do not cover PayPal fees; they will be added to the buyer’s balance. Please contact us 1st before sending any payments towards any gecko or snake, to be sure that the gecko or snake is still available. (All sales are final). No exchanges or refund will be issued. Except in the conditions outlined below. Vermillion Gecko offers payment plans for geckos and snakes over $300.00. Payment plans are set up over a 30-day period, during which the gecko/snake will be placed On Hold for the buyer and will not be eligible for purchase by other potential buyers. “ By sending the deposit amount . Identification
The buyer must be 18 years of age or older. If any doubts arise, Vermillion Gecko can ask for proof of your identity. The person signing the TOS is the legal owner of the gecko/snake and will be held responsible for the following terms of sale. If the buyer does not comply with the terms of sale legal action can be taken. Vermillion Gecko will not share any private information about the customer with third parties.
30-Day Hold Terms
Any available gecko/snake may be placed on a 30-day hold upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit (up to a maximum of $ 250) of the total (including shipping charges if applicable. Upon confirmation of a deposit being received by us, from the buyer, the gecko/snake will officially be marked “on hold “and we will no longer entertain offers to purchase the gecko/snake even if the potential buyer offers a higher purchase price. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 11:59pm EST on the 30th day. We do not set up scheduled payment plans. The buyer may pay as much as they want or as often as they want as long as the total balance is satisfied by the end of the hold period. As payments are received, we will send a message of the amount we received and a balance of what is left. Once the total balance is satisfied, we will officially mark gecko/snake is SOLD and shipment will be scheduled for the earliest available date, based on weather conditions and buyers’ availability to receive the package. We will only ship to HUB only. If the total is not satisfied by 11:59Pm EST on the 30th day, the gecko/snake will be removed from hold status and placed back to available status. All money that was collected toward the purchase of the gecko/snake will NOT be refunded. Payment plans are offered as a courtesy and convenience to the buyer. The non- refundable deposit covers the cost and care for the gecko/snake while on hold and the loss income suffered by Vermillion Gecko by turning down the potential sale of the gecko/ snake by the date due, will not be eligible to make purchases using a payment plan with Vermillion Geckos in the future. In the event that the buyer does not satisfy the balance by the end of the hold period, Vermillion Geckos follows protocols as outlined above, the buyer will NOT use social media or any other outlet, to speak negatively about Vermillion Gecko for holding to these terms. Actions such as this will result in negative reviews for the buyer on sites including but not limited to The Fauna Board Of Inquiry, as well as a potential lawsuit. Vermillion Gecko will take all these necessary steps to preserve their reputation in the reptile community. Again payment plans are a courtesy and a convenience to the buyer, and Vermillion Gecko shall see no harm in offering these plans or holding to the terms set in regards to them. In the unlikely event that the hold gecko/snake falls ill or otherwise becomes unsuitable for purchase during the duration of the hold period, the buyer will be notified immediately. The gecko/snake will be removed from the HOLD status , and all money that was collected , including 50% deposit will be refunded to the buyer .
Shipping-
The Buyer is responsible for shipping and all upcoming costs. Arrangements outside the TOS can be made. Vermillion Gecko is not responsible for shipping delays.
Live Arrival
Vermillion Gecko is not responsible for any carrier delays or mishandling. We do not offer live arrival guarantee for international shipments, therefore refunds will not be issued. The buyer must notify Vermillion Gecko with a picture of the gecko/snake within the hour after receiving it. Geckos will sometimes drop their tails due to stress. This does not affect health or breeding ability of the gecko; therefore, no compensation will be offered in the case of loss during shipment.
Sexing
Any gecko described as a male or female is guaranteed to be that specified sex. Gecko listed as a probable male or female or pores seen means that we have loupe them, and have seen what appear to be pores, however there is no visual bulge present. Geckos listed as probable female or no pores seen means that we have loupe them, and np pores were visible. Sex is not guaranteed for probable males or females because louping is not 100% accurate. We provide this information as a courtesy to buyers so that they can make an educated guess about the gecko which they are purchasing.
General Health
For local pickups a 48-hour health guarantee is offered. If the buyer fails to properly feed, house or otherwise treat the purchased gecko/snake this guarantee is VOID. In the event of the gecko/snake illness or death, photographic/video evidence as well as a report from a veterinarian of an exam or necropsy, will be required. If the report verifies with reasonable certainty that WE are at fault, store credit for the full purchase price of the gecko/snake or replacement of a gecko/snake will be offered. These rules do not apply with international shipment.
Proven
Gecko/snake described as “proven” have produced offspring in the past females listed as virgins have never been introduced to any males.
Gecko/snake description
Vermillion Gecko takes high quality photographs in order to provide the most accurate and up to date representation of the gecko/snake we offer for sale. However, it is nearly impossible to guarantee the final adult coloring or pattern of a gecko/snake. A gecko’s color can change depending on the mood, stress, and as it matures. Its pattern can also change as the gecko ages, possibly increasing or decreasing. A gecko can also develop spots over time. Please also keep in mind that the colors can appear different from one computer screen to another.
Sales Of Recently Purchased Gecko/Snake
Our Gecko/Snake safety is our priority. To avoid flipping and minimize the stress caused by shipping/re-homing, the buyer agrees not to sell, loan, rehome or trade any gecko/snake before the 90-day quarantine period is over. If the gecko/snake cannot be taken care of properly due to unforeseeable circumstances during that time period, Vermillion Gecko has to be informed and will assist in solving the issue. In case the buyer decides to sell or rehome the gecko/snake within the 1st 2 years after attaining them Vermillion Gecko reserves the right to buy the gecko/snake back for a reasonable market price up to an additional 50% of the original price. The buyer has to contact Vermillion Gecko about the sale before offering it to the public and will get a notice within 48 hours. In case the buyer does not hear back within the 48 hours or Vermillion Gecko does not want to buy the gecko/snake back, the gecko/snake can be made available to the public.
Wavy or crooked tails
Sometimes geckos get dehydrated from shipment. This can cause wavy or crooked tails that will likely straighten out after time. We’re not responsible or will not accept responsibility for such matters. No refunds or returns will be given because of wavy or crooked tails after shipment.
