Store Policy
Payment:
Full payment is required before shipment. We accept Pay Pal, credit card, and cash (for local pick-ups in Texas only). The sales of all live animals are final unless an issue occurs (exceptions listed below).
Guarantee:
Live arrival is guaranteed. Any health issues with the snake must be mentioned to me within 24 hours of arrival. Although I cannot warranty any live animal beyond a 24-hour period, I will do my best to help you with any health or husbandry issues that you may encounter. You assume complete responsibility for the animal from the moment you open the shipping box and verify live and healthy arrival. I send out strong animals that have had their first few sheds and have proven to eat at least five frozen/thawed meals in a row. All of my snakes are healthy and feeding at the time of shipment and should continue to thrive for you. I will do everything that I can within reason to assist you should you have any questions about health, behavior, care, etc.
Deposits/Holds:
Holds can only be placed if 50% of the cost of the animal is paid up front. Holds can last for up to 3 months before the deposit will be forfeited. The animal will not be released until full payment has been received.
Waiting Lists:
Currently there is no waiting list as 2023 will be a rest year for my colony.
Refunds:
I issue 100% refunds if the animal in question is received DOA with photographic proof of the shipping box and deceased animal (or video of the unboxing). Refunds may also be issued within 24 hours of receiving if the animal is the incorrect sex and the animal is returned to me in the same state of health as it was originally sold.
Sexing Policy:
All snakes are guaranteed to be properly sexed. If for some reason there is a mistake, you have three options going forward - 1) a full refund can be issued once I have received the snake back, 2) you can return the snake and I can ship you an equally priced replacement of the correct sex, or 3) you can acquire a professional third opinion from an exotic veterinarian to confirm the sex of the snake in question. If the snake is the correct sex that it was sold as, I do not cover this cost, but if it is indeed the incorrect sex, I will cover the cost of the vet visit and can discuss options 1 or 2 as well. I may ask that you explore option 3 before options 1 and 2.
Shipments:
I ship anywhere in the continental U.S. using an overnight carrier. Delivery is made to the closest Fedex hub to your address by 12:00pm, generally on Wednesdays. The cost of overnight shipping is determined by the size and weight of the box, and the zip code where the box is being sent.
